Healthcare Town Hall

I have watched this trend for years and as a young man argued against this idea. It is a quick fix approach. I always thought there would come a day when you would need to explain this redistribution of cost. Helping those whose needs are great in your area has always been a responsibility of the health care industry but there is a time and place where this must end. The idea of passing all of the un-payables off on your local commercial clients is naive and produces extreme disparities in payments. While much can be gained through efficient operations even this has limits. It is almost as though we as a society have not really decided where to draw the line. The impending wave of newly insured now requires clarity as to how to best solve this challenge.
